The Youth Summer Camp for Sustainability (YSCS), provided by World Innovations Network (WIN) in collaboration with the UC Berkeley AMENA Center for Entrepreneurship & Development, offers an unparalleled two-week journey with executive mentors. It features six three-day weekly sessions, carefully crafted to provide diverse and impactful experiences.
We invite your family to join us for this unique program designed to ignite the passions of young leaders and cultivate a deep understanding of creating a better world for all. Three Engaging Activities

Academic Exploration
- Visit the prestigious UC Berkeley and Stanford campuses to learn about their unique contributions to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with professors and interaction from leading experts.
- Participate in innovative workshops on sustainability and creative thinking at UC Berkeley.
- Lectures and interactions with UC Berkeley and Stanford professors and leading experts.


Silicon Valley Deep Dive
- Visit groundbreaking startups to explore the pulse of Silicon Valley innovation.
- Connect with influential entrepreneurs and founders who will provide firsthand insights into thriving in this dynamic ecosystem.
- Experience pioneering advancements at Stanford's BIO-X Center, Sustainability Center, and Plug & Play, the world’s largest incubation program.


Team Building Nature Adventures
- Open discussions about sustainability in an open-air environment, and gaining a unique perspective of the Pacific Ocean's ecosystem and its importance to sustainability.
- Partake in nature-based team-building exercises that enhance collaboration and reinforce the importance of SDGs.
- Walk and talk in the stunning landscapes of Northern California with hikes and day camping in Redwood National Park, home to the ancient redwood trees.

Age Requirements
14-18 year old high school students with at least one parent or legal guardian.
Cost
Parents are responsible for the educational program fees, travel to Silicon Valley, and accommodation.
Lodging
We will recommend hotels near our activities and have negotiated group rates. Families also have the option of booking Airbnb accommodations. Lodging is separate from the camp fees and is the responsibility of the attendees.
Transportation
Transportation to and from all scheduled camp activities and meals during the sessions will be provided.
Food
Lunch will be provided during all camp sessions.
Free Time
The program is structured to include ample free time, allowing participants to enjoy Silicon Valley as a vacation destination and explore the spectacular points of interest in the California Bay Area.
